Sumo wrestling - how it works
Padded sumo wrestling is just the same as traditional sumo wrestling, but without the years of intensive training and strict dietary regime! OK, it's not quite the same when you're fighting Auntie Flo or best friend Kevin rather than a Japanese master rijishi (wrestler), but the rules are very simple!

Simply put on our padded sumo wrestling suit and helmet, and try to knock you opponent out of the 12ft by 12 ft circular ring, or dohyo. (In traditional sumo, you an also win by forcing your opponent to touch the ground with any part of their body except the soles of their feet.) It's not as easy as it looks when you're surrounded by padded sumo wrestler 'muscles', but since our Padded sumo suits are ultra tough and one size swamps all, your Padded sumo wrestler costume is suitable for ages 6 to 96+ years!
